The Science Without Borders® Challenge is an International Art Contest 2024 designed to engage students and educators in the cause of ocean conservation through art. This annual art contest encourages students to unleash their creativity while raising public awareness about the imperative need to preserve, protect, and restore our world's oceans and aquatic resources, aligning with the Khaled bin Sultan Living Oceans Foundation's broader objectives.

The theme for the 2024 Science Without Borders® Challenge is "Hidden Wonders of the Deep." Participants are invited to submit artwork that captures the enigmatic and unique deep-sea creatures and ecosystems, unveiling the beauty and diversity that often remains concealed beneath the waves.
- Prizes in this International Art Contest
Winners of the Science Without Borders® Challenge will receive the following scholarships:
- 1st Place: $500
- 2nd Place: $350
- 3rd Place: $200
Additionally, a "People’s Choice" award will grant $50 scholarships to the winners in each age group.

This international art competition is open to students aged 11-19. Eligible participants must be enrolled in primary or secondary school, or their equivalent in homeschooling. College and university students are not eligible for this contest.
