Green Frames Vatavaran Short Film Competition 2023 & Festival
The Centre for Media Studies (CMS), in collaboration with the U.S. Consulate General, Mumbai, presents the Green Frames Vatavaran Short Film Competition and Festival 2023 for School and College Students, Civil Society Groups, and Amateur and Professional Filmmakers. This Short Film Competition 2023 encourages participants to create short films, animations, PSAs, and documentaries that revolve around the theme of "Environmental Preservation and Climate Advocacy." Filmmakers are invited to explore various topics, including waste management, climate adaptation, water conservation, sustainable tourism, biodiversity protection, green energy, green manufacturing, and sustainable living in this Short Film Festival 2023. The Environment Film Competition 2023 seeks to raise awareness about environmental issues and showcase positive stories of individuals, companies, and communities taking action to address climate challenges. Submissions are accepted until November 15, 2023, and awards, including trophies and commendations, will be presented in seven categories. This initiative is supported by the U.S. Consulate General, Mumbai, and curated by CMS VATAVARAN for the Green Frames: Vatavaran Short Film Competition, and Festival 2023.
