Writing Competition Rules

  • No fees to enter.
  • Submit your entries in Microsoft Word or Google Doc form.
  • Any genre is welcome.
  • Your story should be between 6,000 and 10,000 words.
  • Reprints are allowed, as long as you still have the rights to distribute them.
  • Acknowledge Distribution Rights: You can still sell your story elsewhere, but Substack needs the ability to save and publish it on their platform to create a library for subscribers.
