Participation Process
Participation in #ReadIndiaCelebration2023 (International) involves three simple steps: Register, Read, and Submit.
Registration:
- Visit the official website
- Click on the "Login/Sign Up" tab in the top right corner
- For Students: Scroll down and click on "Sign Up Here" if you are a student
- For Citizens: Scroll down and click on "Sign Up Here" if you are a citizen
- Complete the sign-up process by providing your full name, email address, mobile number, and password
- Login using your email address and password, and fill in the details in the "My Profile" section to complete the registration
- Note: The registration fee is voluntary and not mandatory for participation
Reading:
- Read any non-academic book, story, self, situation, or research topic of your choice
- Alternatively, refer to the proposed list of 25 themes and topics provided by RIC 2023
- Students and citizens are free to choose their reading material

Submission:
- Prepare a 1-page document summarizing the key message, learnings, or views on the read material
- In the same document, propose a creative solution to a school, college, social, or global problem
- Create a 2-minute video sharing the key message, learnings, or problem and solution
- Submit both the document and video files through the Upload Files section in the Student or Citizen Dashboard

Awards and Recognitions
RIC 2023 offers exciting awards and recognitions for participants:
Participants:
- Participation Certificate for all registered participants
- Top 10 participants will receive a special recognition certificate
- Top 3 participants will be awarded laptops
- 10 participants will be awarded tablets
- 100 participants will receive e-book vouchers
- Selected participants may get an opportunity to present their ideas at national and international conferences
Schools:
- Schools with maximum student registrations will be awarded the "Reading Champions" title
- Special recognition for schools promoting reading culture and innovation
Teachers:
- Teachers with exceptional student participation and engagement will be recognized
- Top 3 teachers will receive tablets
Libraries:
- Libraries with the highest number of registered members will be recognized as "Reading Hubs"
- Special recognition for libraries organizing reading-related events and activities
Overall Winners:
- Top 3 participants across all categories (students, schools, teachers, and libraries) will be awarded a scholarship for higher education
- Overall winners will be featured in national and international media
