Renowned children's author and judge, Rachel Lawston, will read winning poems featured on our YouTube channel. 'Gold,' 'Silver,' and 'Bronze' Certificates will be awarded to top finalists and all participants in this Writing Competition 2024.
How to Enter this Writing Competition 2024
Email your story as a PDF or image to info@brightlighteducation.co.uk. Specify the age group in the email. Don't forget the title and include your child's first name either in the story or the email. The Writing Competition 2024 runs from February 1st to February 28th, 2024, with winners announced on March 14th.
Terms and Conditions in this Competition 2024
Agree to the T&Cs to participate, ensuring your entry is a fictional story based on the task, an original piece of independent work, and suitable for a child audience. Only one entry per child is allowed in this Writing Competition for Children 2024.
Judges in this Writing Competition for Children 2024
The first round will be judged by a selection of creative writing specialists. In the final round, children's author Rachel Lawston, known for Finn’s Garden Friends and more, will decide the winners in this Writing Competition for Kids.
