National Quiz on Empowering Youth with Travel for LiFE 2023

This free quiz competition is designed to engage school and college students in promoting sustainable tourism and positioning India as a global destination.
About the Quiz
The National Quiz on Empowering Youth with Travel for LiFE is part of the Travel for LiFE program, which aims to sensitize and mobilize the power of youth to contribute to sustainable tourism. By participating in the quiz, you will have the opportunity to showcase your knowledge and win recognition for your efforts.
Terms and Conditions
- The quiz is open to participants of all nationalities and from all over the world.
- The quiz consists of 5 questions and must be completed within a time limit of 5 minutes.
- Participants need to provide their name, email address, telephone number, and postal address to enter the quiz.
- Once submitted, an entry cannot be withdrawn.
- Only one entry per participant is allowed. Multiple entries will be discarded.
- Organizers are not responsible for lost, late, or incomplete entries due to computer or other errors beyond their control.
- In unforeseen circumstances, organizers reserve the right to amend or withdraw the quiz.
- Participants must adhere to all the rules and regulations of the quiz.
- The organizers have the right to disqualify participants who engage in any activity detrimental to the quiz or its partners.
- Organizer's decision on the quiz is final and binding.
- The quiz is governed by the laws of the Indian Judiciary.
- By participating in the quiz, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Travel for LiFE Program
The Travel for LiFE program is a sectoral initiative of Mission LiFE, launched by the Ministry of Tourism. It aims to position India as a global destination for sustainable tourism by engaging the youth in activities categorized under the pillars of Information Education and Communication (IEC) and Capacity Building.
With over 65 percent of India's population being composed of youth, there is immense potential to influence tourists and tourism businesses to adopt sustainable practices. The program includes various contests, such as clean-up and plantation drives, local rides, and co-creating experiences with locals. Social media awareness campaigns are also part of the program to engage the youth and others in the implementation process.
Reward
To acknowledge and felicitate the participants, each participant of the quiz will receive an e-certificate from the Ministry of Tourism.
