About the National Online Poster Making Competition 2023
Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA), a statutory body under the Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India, is organizing a National Poster Making Competition 2023 for school and college students.
Mission of CARA
Functioning as the nodal body for Indian child adoption, CARA monitors and regulates in-country and inter-country adoptions under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Child) Act, 2015. Designated as the Central Authority for inter-country adoptions, CARA emphasizes legal adoption and safeguarding children.
Adoption Awareness Month
Every November, CARA celebrates Adoption Awareness Month to promote awareness of legal adoption and safe surrender. This year, the focus is on older children, those with special needs, and children in foster care.
National Poster Making Competition 2023 Details
In collaboration with MyGov, CARA invites citizens to participate in the Online Poster Competition 2023 to creatively raise awareness about legal adoption and the safe surrender of children. The themes include 'Embrace love; transform lives,' 'Adoption is a gift of hope,' and 'Children need to be loved & feel like they belong.'
Gratifications in this National Poster Competition 2023
- The top 15 winners will receive a cash prize of INR 3000 each.
