Indian Debating League (IDL) and IIT Bombay present the Mumbai Speech and Debate League 2024, a premier Debating Competition for School Students.
Debating Competition Details
- Online Qualifiers: 29th June or 13th July
- Offline Finale: 21st July at IIT Bombay
- Grades: 3rd to 12th (divided into 3rd-5th, 6th-8th, and 9th-12th)
- Formats: Dramatic Adaptation, Original Oratory, World School Debating Championship (WSDC)
Debate Formats
- Dramatic Adaptation: Students imitate influential figures to present views on given topics.
- Original Oratory: Students showcase their voice and passion through self-written speeches.
- World School Debating Championship (WSDC): Teams of 3 engage in debates with opposing sides.
