The Cosmology Education and Research Training Center (COSMOS) in Mysuru, in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA) in Bengaluru, is thrilled to announce the Moon Video Contest. This exciting Science Vide Competition offers high school students residing in Mysuru and studying within the Mysuru Education District Limit a chance to showcase their knowledge of space science in a simple and engaging way.

- Scientific Contest Topics:
- Phases of the Moon
- Craters on the Moon
- Eligibility in this Science Video Contest:
- Open to students aged 12-15 years as of 15th July 2023
- Residing in Mysuru and studying in schools within the Mysuru Education District Limit
- Submission Guidelines for the Competition:
- One video submission per student
- Video length should not exceed 3 minutes
- Language options: English or Kannada (subtitles required for other languages)
- Acceptable formats: phone camera, camera, PowerPoint presentation, or fancy graphics
- Judging criteria: effective communication of the topic and quality of explanation
- Submission Deadline: 30th June 2023
- Additional Information for this Video Contest:
- Avoid copyrighted audio or visual material in your video
- The winners will receive Astronomy goodies from IIA and ISRO
