Guidelines for Participation
- Team Composition: 4-5 members per team
- Team Diversity: Members can belong to any academic year
- Inter-college Participation: Team members must be from the same college
Competition Format
Round 1 - Online Quiz
- Quiz Date: 15 November 2024
- Quiz Duration: 30 minutes
- Assessment Window: 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM IST
- Number of Questions: 30
Participants may start the quiz anytime within the assessment window. However, it must be completed in a single sitting as the timer will continue once started. For a full 30-minute duration, begin the assessment by 8:00 PM IST on 15 Nov 2024.
Marking Criteria
- Rankings are based on answer accuracy.
- If scores are tied, the participant who completes the quiz faster will rank higher.
Assessment Instructions
- Access the quiz from the opportunity page where you registered.
- Only the team leader can initiate the quiz.
- Questions can be navigated freely within the quiz duration.
- Submit answers or solutions within the 30-minute timeframe.
Round 2 - Submission Round
- Start: 16 November 2024, 08:00 PM IST
- End: 20 November 2024, 11:59 PM IST
- Teams advancing from Round 1 will receive a motion topic and a country to represent.
In this round, teams will showcase their research and policy-making abilities. Each team will analyze their assigned country's policies and develop innovative solutions addressing global challenges. The document should align with the Model United Nations (MUN) framework, highlighting the team's understanding and proposals.
Submission Format: Word document (named "Intellectica_TeamName") and any supporting documents. Submit on the platform before the deadline.
Round 3 - Delegate Discussion
The top 6 teams will be selected for the final delegate discussion held at SIDTM, Lavale Campus. Finalists will engage in discussions, presenting and defending their research and solutions in a live forum.
Additional Information
- Results of Rounds 1 & 2 will determine finalists. Selection is at judges' discretion and considered final.
- For both rounds, a “Submit” button will appear on the platform when the round is live.
