1st Expression Series Competition Details:
Theme:
Skill Development in India: From Local to GlobalTopics:
- Primary (Class 3 to 5): Paragraph (150 words) / Painting
Topic: A famous Indian personality who achieved success through his/her skills or Skills a child needs to excel. - Middle (Class 6 to 8): Essay (400 words) / Painting / Poem
Topic: According to me, the best example of Kabaad se Jugaad is.... or Local skill of my district which I can promote. - Secondary (Class 9 to 10): Essay (700 words) / Painting / Poem
Topic: Emerging industries and required skills or Role of Education in Skill Development. - Senior Secondary (Class 11 to 12): Essay (1000 words) / Painting / Poem
Topic: Globalization and need for globally-relevant skills or Skill development for inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
- Primary (Class 3 to 5): Paragraph (150 words) / Painting
School Level:
- Schools shall organize the Expression Series during school hours from 24th April to 3rd May, 2023.
- Students can participate in various activities like Essays, Paragraphs, Paintings, and Poems.
- Entries can be written in Hindi or English.
- Schools will evaluate entries and select one entry per class category for submission to CBSE.
- Entries must be supported by a Certificate of the Head of the Institution/Teacher In-charge.
Submission of Entries by Schools:
- Schools can submit/upload entries from 4th May to 13th May, 2023 using the CBSE Expression Series App available on Google Play store.
- Each participant will receive an online certificate of participation via registered email ID after successful submission.
Prizes:
- 10 best entries of each category will be selected by each CBSE Region for national-level selection.
- Three best entries will be chosen at the national level and compiled into a booklet for display on the CBSE website.
- 10 best entries at the Regional Level and 03 best entries at the National Level will receive an e-certificate of Merit.
Participation and Recognition:
- Students from primary to senior secondary levels can showcase their skills and creativity through the Expression Series competition.
- Participants can choose their preferred format such as Paragraphs, Paintings, Essays, or Poems based on their school level and the assigned topics.
- Entries should be submitted by schools, following the specified guidelines and using the CBSE Expression Series App.
- Upon successful submission, participants will receive online certificates of participation via their registered email IDs.
- At the national level, the CBSE will select the top three entries from each category, which will be featured in a booklet on the CBSE website.
Prizes and Certificates:
- Each CBSE region will choose the ten best entries from each category, leading to the selection of winners at the national level.
- Regional-level winners (160 entries) and national-level winners (3 entries) will receive e-certificates of Merit.
- The certificates will be sent to the CBSEShiksha email ID of the respective schools.
