About the Business Competition for Students
The University of Melbourne India Case Competition is open to teams of 3 to 5 members from the same school. It invites you to tackle a real-world business issue and propose innovative solutions. Regardless of your background or prior experience, all teams are welcome to participate and demonstrate their problem-solving abilities.
- Three Stages for this Business Case Competition:
- Written Proposal Submission: All participating teams must submit a written proposal outlining their solution to the given business issue. This stage provides an opportunity to showcase your strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Online Presentations: Shortlisted teams will progress to the next round, where they will present their proposals to a distinguished panel of judges. This stage allows you to enhance your communication and presentation abilities.
- Final Event: Finalist teams will receive invaluable mentoring from current Bachelor of Commerce students currently studying in University of Melbourne, refining their proposals before presenting them to the esteemed academic staff of the University of Melbourne in a final event held in Delhi. This stage offers a unique chance to interact with experts and receive valuable feedback.

Registration Process for this Business Competition
To participate in this exciting business competition, gather a team of 3 to 5 students from the same school, and register before the August 4, 2023 deadline. Once registered, your team will receive the Case Competition statement and question, which you must address in a written proposal. The proposal should be in the form of a PowerPoint presentation with a maximum of 10 slides.
