The Chicago Latino Film Festival, the oldest of its kind in the United States, marks its 40th Anniversary. For four decades, the festival has been a cultural hub, introducing diverse films from Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain, Portugal, and the United States to Chicago audiences.

Calling artists worldwide! The annual poster competition seeks a design that embodies the festival's mission of celebrating the diverse cultures of Iberoamerica. The winning design becomes the face of the festival, featured across various mediums including newsprint programs, invitations, electronic ads, and social media platforms. The coveted prize for the winner is $1,000!

- Open to individual artists, teams, and design firms.
- Submission deadline: Tuesday, January 9, 2024. Limit of 3 entries per person or team.
- No submission cost; digital copies only.
- Evaluation based on appeal, content, and marketability.

Free Poster Contest 2023 Submission Specifications
All artwork must incorporate "40th Chicago Latino Film Festival" and the festival dates (April 11-21, 2024). Submissions should be in JPEG or PNG format, 18’’ wide x 24’’ high (Vertical), and 150 DPI (RGB).
